Once there lived a king ruling a small beautiful kingdom. He is a nature lover. He wanted to make a big garden with many flowering plants and fruit bearing trees.
He appointed a gardener who was working as a gate keeper in the palace. His name is Muthu. Muthu is a sincere worker. Though he is not related to the work of a gardener or he had prior experience of gardening he just accepted king’s order and started working sincerely.
He planted the saplings and watered them. Plants started growing well. He worked day and night and no time to rest.
One day the king came to visit the garden. He was happy by seeing the growth of plants. The king said to water well and take
care of the plants, and advised to check often whether the roots are healthy without drying.
After this advice, muthu began to pluck the roots of the plants whether it is healthy. But soon the roots began to dry because
of this and all the plants started to dry.
When the king came for rounds next time he found all the plants were dry and he questioned Muthu why the plants have been dry.
When Muthu explained what he did the king was shocked and realized that he has given the work to a wrong person.
Moral: Each one is unique and has talent in specific things. So before assigning a work to anyone just analyse once
whether they are capable to complete the given work especially when you are in a authority.
