Once upon a time there lived a lion in a forest. One day the lion was thirsty and was searching for water. It found a pond with some water. The bank of the pond was muddy. Because of thirst the lion just walked in muddy bank of the pond and drank the water. After drinking the water the lion realised it’s hind limbs were strucked in the mud and it could not move now. The lion tried with its full force but couldn’t come out. The lion screamed for help but no was near to help. Later after two or three days without food, the lost strength even to call for help.
Fourth day a fox came by that way and saw the lion struck in the pond. The fox wanted to help the lion. Slowly it tried to remove the mud with its leg but couldn’t succeed. Then the fox tried to pull out the hind legs of the lion and lion to tried with its fullest strength and got out of the mud with the help of fox.
The lion felt so happy and from that day out of gratitude the lion was so fond of fox and they became very close friends thereafter. The fox introduced its family to lion’s family. Days rolled on. The fox and lion spent their time always together.
The fox’s wife felt that the fox doesn’t spend time with family. So one day she said to fox,” lion doesn’t like you nowadays because he is king of forest and you are just small fox so he wants to cut your friendship”. Fox worried but he just want to check whether the lion felt and said this really. So directly went to lion and asked whether he wants to cut this friendship. Lion was shocked to hear this and said that he didn’t tell anyone or feel to cut his friendship.
The fox felt sorry for asking this. But the lion told, “Though your wife said this to you, you decided to enquire about it directly and find the truth. This is really a great quality. Let’s be friends forever.”
They lived as friends happily forever.
Moral: Whomever say you random things but always enquire well and try know the truth. That is the real knowledge.
