நட்பிற்கு வீற்றிருக்கை யாதெனின் கொட்பின்றி

Ramu lived in a village. There was no rain in the village and agriculture work became very less. So Ramu decided to search work in other villages. Ramu started his journey. He need to cross a big forest to reach the other village. When he was walking through the forest a tiger began to chase him. He ran to save himself. He climbed a big tree and reached top of the tree to hide and save himself from the tiger.
He was shocked to see a chimpanzee at the top of the tree. He pleaded the chimpanzee to save him. So the chimpanzee said it won’t do any harm to Ramu and agreed to save him from the tiger. After the sunset it became dark but the hungry tiger was still waiting under the tree. So the chimpanzee and Ramu decided to sleep alternatively. Once Ramu is sleeping the chimpanzee will watch and when chimpanzee is sleeping Ramu will watch.
When it is chimpanzee’s turn to sleep, during its deep sleep, the tiger was really tired and it could understand that still they are together it is not going to get any food to eat. So it planned to seperate them first. The Tiger told Ramu, “U just kick off the chimpanzee down, I will have my food and I will leave the place after that”.
At once Ramu’s mind toggled. He began to think selfish. If chimpanzee becomes prey to the tiger he can leave freely, his thoughts flew to extents. Beliving Tiger’s words Ramu kicked the chimpanzee with his whole strength. As soon as the chimpanzee fell down it can realize what would have happened.
Now the Tiger said to chimpanzee, “See how selfish the man is! Actually I need human flesh only. I just want to show his real face to you. No problem even now. You just go up and just kick the man down. I will have human flesh stomach full and leave this place.”
The Chimpanzee nodded to the deal. It climbed up the tree again. Now Ramu was really frightened. But the chimpanzee said, “Don’t worry. I won’t kick you down. I promised to save you and I will keep up the promise. I just nodded to escape from the tiger.”
Ramu felt ashamed. But chimpanzee showed its friendship and kind heart by being the same, whatever being the situation. And never gave up his promise. One of the true virtue of frienship is to remain same to a friend whatever be the situation and ready to help.
